Securing a costume hood to the head/helmet

so I just bought a jesture costume multipurpose for halloween and a new part-time jumpsuit

anyway, any ideas on hohw to secure the hood of it to my head or helmet? I've thought of putting an elastic/velcro band and attaching it toward the top and putting that under my neck, or zip tying from hood to helmet chin strap. suggestions?

Think of it as if you were trying to secure the hood of a regular hoody

What is the jester hat made of? Maybe some velcro to the helmet and the inside of the hat? I would think some sort of chinstrap would be necessary also. HERE is what i did to mine. That was a rubber haloween mask that i streched over my velocity helmet and secured the edges with gafers tape. Flew that thing in all orientations, and never had a problem.

Hey, thanksk for the advice, the jester hat isn't a hat, necessarily, it's a hood, that looks like a hat. Jumped it yest'rday, turns out the hood stays on fine over my helmet w/out anything supporting it!

Thanks for the ideas, I think I"ll do some of those just for the added security.

oh, and b.t.w. the jummp was a ff jump and neptune registered a 120 mph AVERAGE FALLING SPEED!!!

That was a nice exit with the suit. I don't think it was as nice as my exit with the poodle suit. Yes I said poodle suit. 6ft guy with a white poodle looking suit on. I will have to post a link to my exit with the suit on. Also we will have to get scott to video tape use on a jump with the suits on.
