AggieDave 6 #2 October 29, 2004 Not quite a biography, but the Works' books has some good jumps stories. It kinda fits the bill. http://www.cs.fiu.edu/~esj/uwf/uwf.html Click on Ch 8.--"When I die, may I be surrounded by scattered chrome and burning gasoline." weegegirl 2 #6 October 29, 2004 There is a fairly new book out there by a friend of mine named Lucky Mike. It's called Dancing on Raindrops. He is a skydiver that I met this winter down at SoBe. The subtitle of the book is "Extreme Adventures: Reveal the 7 Secrets to Your Success." I thought it was a great read. The guy has had quite the life! Some of his stories are about skydiving, but also about BASE, sharks, sailing, and all sorts of great adventures. Very inspirational and filled with wonderful photos too. I would highly recommend it. http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/0974347647/qid=1099023223/sr=1-1/ref=sr_1_1/002-4495173-3296831?v=glance&s=books http://www.dancingonraindrops.com Editorial Reviews Dancing on Raindrops is a tapestry of extreme reality adventures, cleverly interwoven into the fabric of life. Lucky Mike takes you on an extreme journey, and uses the lessons learned to show you a path to living the life you dream about. You will be captivated by these action-packed real-life adventures! Unique stories so close to the edge, most would not dare to tread. Experience the incredible power of the mind, then put it into practice in your own life. Sinkster 0 #11 October 31, 2004 I just read one by a guy who's pen name is Tom Read. The book is called Freefall and I had to get it from Britain, but it was worth it. Book about his fascinating life in the SAS, other adventures, and his battle with mental illness. I usually get bored of books and drop them halfway, but I finished that one to the end. Clicky: Freefall at amazon.co.uk
