Lost Our Jump Plane (not an accident)

Our DZO is taking his plane to a place where he can make it pay!
So. for those of you that get to jump at Hinkley please know that you got our Porter this weekend! We understand why it is going, so, if you get to jump out of 354F this week end please tell the pilot, (Randy is his name) and the owner (Jay) thanks for going out of state (to help keep a nice plane by helping to make it profitable) THANKS FOR FLYING FOR YOU!!
We here are on the ground but we understand why, so have fun and enjoy a great jump ship

the plane being gone gave me an excuse to go west and vist a dear friend so enjoy dam I love the people in this sport

I would get out there and jump it if I could (recovering from surgery)! My hubby is out there right now to jump my share. We normally have this porter, but as you can see, the AC owner decided to lease it to Skydive Pennsylvania.

So sorry to hear of your situation. I just jumping out of your Porter at Hinckley this afternoon. We were bitching about not having the Otter, but now you have put it in perspective. We could have had nothing at all!!

That plane used to be at Kapowsin, WA, back in the early 90's. Made a lot of jumps out of that one, still one of my favorite jumpships. Hey, have them take the plywood floor out and the crossbrace for the step. Then you can do bomb bay jumps. They rock.

Oh, we jumped it. 16 loads on Saturday, probably more tomorow. We barely gave the pilot a chance to catch his breath...

My favorite was an 8 way, we chunked a 4-way out each side. My one complaint is because I was sharing the "step" on the left side... it needs a bigger step over there!

I am glad you all are enjoying it. We feel very lucky to have such a plane a such a small DZ. Jay takes good care of us all at Paradise Skydives

Take good care of Randy (the pilot) he is also the A & P for most of the work on that Porter! If something goes wrong durning the day and it can be fixed he fixes it and we are back in the air! That Rocks. He also get it to alitude in a hurry

No truer words have ever been spoken. To me, it's all about travelling around and meeting, jumping, then partying with others. I really love to travel and there is no smarter way for a skydiver to get to another event than in the plane flying there anyway.
