I would get out there and jump it if I could (recovering from surgery)! My hubby is out there right now to jump my share. We normally have this porter, but as you can see, the AC owner decided to lease it to Skydive Pennsylvania. _Pm__ "Scared of love, love and aeroplanes...falling out, I said takes no brains." -- Andy Partridge (XTC)

klafollette 0 #11 November 14, 2004 So sorry to hear of your situation. I just jumping out of your Porter at Hinckley this afternoon. We were bitching about not having the Otter, but now you have put it in perspective. We could have had nothing at all!!
JohnMitchell 16 #12 November 14, 2004 That plane used to be at Kapowsin, WA, back in the early 90's. Made a lot of jumps out of that one, still one of my favorite jumpships. Hey, have them take the plywood floor out and the crossbrace for the step. Then you can do bomb bay jumps. They rock.
AndyMan 7 #13 November 14, 2004 Quote You folks in Hinkely get out and jump that plane. Oh, we jumped it. 16 loads on Saturday, probably more tomorow. We barely gave the pilot a chance to catch his breath... My favorite was an 8 way, we chunked a 4-way out each side. My one complaint is because I was sharing the "step" on the left side... it needs a bigger step over there! _Am__ You put the fun in "funnel" - craichead. piisfish 140 #16 November 14, 2004 I'd love to see that... And try and convince our pilot/owner to change the doors on his Porters... scissors beat paper, paper beat rock, rock beat wingsuit - KarlM

SkymonkeyONE 4 #20 November 14, 2004 Quotehow about yall catch a ride on it to hinkley and jump there. same plane, different scenery. could be fun. No truer words have ever been spoken. To me, it's all about travelling around and meeting, jumping, then partying with others. I really love to travel and there is no smarter way for a skydiver to get to another event than in the plane flying there anyway.
