Suunto watches for skydiving

Recommended Posts

I use the Suunto X6 hrm. As far as I know, this is the only model from Suunto, having a button lock. So it can't accidently switch back to the time or any other display.
It is quite accurate - I set it to zero in the morning and during the day I stay +- 50 feet around 0.
Some friends use the Vector and they like it. So I think it's just about your personal design preference or if you want to see your heartrate in freefall - which you can do with the X6hrm;).

Just keep in mind that Suunto says in all of their manuals, that they do not reccomend their watches for skydiving!!!

This is the problem I have when I use my Suunto Vector while doing RW - there have been a few times when I looked and notice that it was 2pm (which begs the question - what time will my Cypress fire at:P)
