Reserve wingload personal limits for HP canopy pilots

Well I know what my wingloading is that is why I asked the question in the first place. Should I get a PDR? Is switching up a point in wingloading a big deal?

I still want to know how you get WL of 1.3/1 something on your 135 main.

I'm 240 out the door! the biggest reserve I can fit is a Tempo 170. Which is what I am jumping. 1.41/1 wing loading. I would like a fresh reserve.

I figure it comes out to 1.77.1. You said you were getting a 160 Smart so that puts your W/L at 1.5/1 and only 50 pounds over what Aerodyne lists as Max. for and advanced canopy pilot. OH, they also list the max. W/L at 1.3/1.

But none of that should be a problem what with all the previous jumps you have on Lo-Po type 7 cells that are over loaded to the max.

Sorry if it sounded like I was picking on you. Any one who knows enough to explain to Windsor how to pack a racer doesn't need any help with anything.:P

Good luck.

hey winsor how about 2 out??? how would a 99 crossbraced fly with a 218 reserve??? i had a 120 and a 176 and i was kinda scared of 2 out with that. has any one flown 2 very different canopies like that ??? i saw a video of a round and square together in my aff class and it looked bad!!!!!

I can't remember the thread, but do a search. Hooknswoop did several test jumps using a tersh rig with large reserves and a tiny Stiletto in 2-out scenarios with no major issues.
