BIGUN 1,483 #2 February 5, 2005 I wonder if they mean 118 solo jumps as in all by yourself or 118 jumps without an instructor or coach - where you find your discipline and work in that... RW, FF, Camera, etc. Quick currency conversion would indicate the course is $7,458 USD. Include 200 jumps, camera specific training & editing, packing, 23 coach jumps, job placement, etc. It doesn't sound like a bad price to me.Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard. bigway 4 #3 February 5, 2005 This is a course that i am marketing at the moment for my dropzone, sorry but i am in the uk at the moment and my dropzone is in NZ, i get back next week and make the changes to the title. This course is not going to make you a proffessional camera man but will teach people the runnings of a dropzone. The world proffessional needs to be changed and also any camera skills and flying that is obtained on this course at the moment is with Wendy Smith. Wendy is also doing other courses with us for the more experienced jumpers. The course you have outlined is designed to give the international person who wants to spend some time in new zealand the chance to learn to skydiving up to a level in New Zealand where you can start working as a tandem camera man. It is 30 jumps shy of that level, it is an introduvtion, i have made this course $5000nzd cheaper than other courses like this in New Zealand and have also given free accommodation for the three months(more if needed), Once you are at a level where Wendy feels it is safe she will give you 20 Training camera coach jumps and also the full editing course. In New zealand you have a course where you can get a diploma in commercial skydiving, i am offer something similar but alot cheaper, free accommodation and the added bonus of having Wendy Smith as an instructor as well as the New Zealand nationals overall champion. Any questions please PM me. Please note that i realise changes need to be made to the titile of the course but our webmaster is in hospital. Also think about this, you spend three months full time on a commercial dropzone learning how things work in New Zealand with Wendy Smith, not bad for a student with zero jumps. .Karnage Krew Gear Store . bigway 4 #4 February 5, 2005 QuoteI wonder if they mean 118 solo jumps as in all by yourself or 118 jumps without an instructor or coach - where you find your discipline and work in that... RW, FF, Camera, etc. Correct It is 118 jumps with your mates, a student 2- way team, whatever it is you get into. When you are around 140 jumps you will get the chance to jump with an empty camera helmet, and then progress to video and then video/stills. There is another course in new zealand that is producing 30 odd camera flyers within their first 200 jumps a year for the last 4 years so the safety and training seems to work in those little jump numbers. Realise that it is a course that soley focuses on this disciplin and everything is one on one. The other course we are setting up will be running in march and then again in november where Wendy Smith will be giving the more experienced jumper a full 1-2 weeks of solid training with her on the ground and in the air for a mere price of 50 slots. You would get 30 camera jumps with different formations of skydiving at our dz as well as 20 camera coach jumps with Wendy and all jumps critiqued by Wendy as well as free accommodation and seminars run by Wendy. I dont want to give prices or anything over dropzone.com until i can get some Banner advertising with HH sorted out. So please PM me or email me if you want to know more details. .Karnage Krew Gear Store .

bigway 4 #6 February 5, 2005 Skydive Auckland up at Mercer. Similar thing to Steve Smiths gig but designed as a cheaper option for the international jumper. There is no risk of losing money if you pull out during the course either. The course that is starting with wendy will be run by Wendy and Lazlo and Jamie Lyver. cheers .Karnage Krew Gear Store . mccurley 1 #12 February 6, 2005 I don't see a problem with people asking questions on this forum. The original post was not directed at Bigway he mearly answered it. Other people, not connected to this course, also have thier chance to put in thier 2 cents worth. This is general discussions after all and that was the intent of the original post I believe.Watch my video Fat Women http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eRWkEky8GoI
bob.dino 1 #13 February 7, 2005 You could bust him for not knowing how to use the shift key on his keyboard . It makes it damn hard to read long paragraphs of text, and doesn't reflect particularly well on his marketing skills .
