EDYDO 0 #1 February 13, 2005 During practice for the POPS Florida record attempt next month, we did a 39 way in the shape of a heart. It was a rush and the crowd cheered as we were landing. I don't remember ever hearing cheering for a skydive at a DZ. We did a couple of 2 point 20 ways before combining the groups. Gary and Carl are fantastic organizers!! Ed Thanks, I was jumping with Carl Daugherty when God was a boy Just saw him for the first time in 24 years at the keys boogie in Marathon Key a few weeks ago. He looked great (except for the hair, though I guess if your this old and still have that much, you might as well flaunt it)! Carl was about 1000 jumps ahead of me as I recall and he told me he has around 16000 now, so maybe I'd have 15000 if I'd stuck around. Can't really imagine that... and I really can't imagine what that adds up to in dollars. ----------------------- Roger "Ramjet" Clark FB# 271, SCR 3245, SCS 1519

flyangel2 2 #16 February 15, 2005 Don't even go there with me about weights. Remember the Texas Pops record. That damn Larry guy put me docking right behind the base. I was wearing over 20 pounds of weight. We landed at the end of the runway on one jump, and I took off my weight belt and threw it at Larry and told him he had to carry it back May your trails be crooked, winding, lonesome, dangerous, leading to the most amazing view.
