Canopy size?

I live in a State that snows, so I have not jumped since last fall. I have 27 jumps and the last 4 were on a falcon 235. I weigh 180 pounds.
Over the winter I purchased a J-4 with a PD 210. My question is, should I jump the 235 a couple more times, or should I just jump the 210? Is there that much differance?

That ? has some variables. But just to play it safe go big with the 235 till you feel comfy again, its what you know, then make your change.

I'd go with the larger canopy to start the new jump season. Then on a day with a decent wind, try the 210 and play with it up high to see what the differences are under your wing loading. Watch your landing speed and imagine what it would be like on no wind days.

If you consistently land the 210 without problems in light winds after 15 - 20 landings, try it on a no wind day.

if you have to ask, then you are probably worried a little... so do a few jumps on the 235 to get back into the swing of things, then once you feel comfortable you can jump your 210.
