srsublime 0 #1 April 30, 2005 What exactly happens to them? The ones where the holes cannot be fixed? Or some other reason and they can no longer be flown? I just moved into a new place and want to hang one to cover the ceiling, but have no idea as to how I could go about getting one. Do y'all hide them in a closet or attic? Thanks. Orfun #21... thanks PsychoBob!
JohnGraham 0 #2 April 30, 2005 If they're unairworthy, they most often get their lines chopped and sold for cheap. Ask at any big rigging loft and you'll likely find one. Try clicking here (the paragear website) and click on "surplus" on the left hand side under "parachutes", they have an old round to sell off at the moment. JohnMitchell 16 #3 April 30, 2005 I turned one into a 200 square foot beach kite. Pretty fun to fly downby the ocean.
