Adjustable Harness

If the tersh rings are ever actually used, won't they be loaded the wrong way? Looks like the load might be taken by the binding tape stitching right above the ring rather than the type-12 that holds the ring captive.

Or are they for something else?

True but the stitching for the 'tape' isn't intergal to the harness itself so even if it were overloaded to the point of failure, it won't compromise the strength of the harness...unlike some 'removable' D-Ring set-ups that are sometimes used on standard sport harness systems.

OK, so it's sort of a one-time-use tersh attach? I guess that makes sense if the tersh is used to back up a regular reserve.

Yeah, I rarely see an aftermarket tersh ring attachement that looks well designed.

Opps...Left out a line on my 1st reply,
It's attachment points for Flags / Rucks etc. as
Hook said. Not tersh attachments....

BUT..that does give my an idea!;)

It's not the rings that cause me concern...it's where people put them, and what they use them for.

I've cautioned several demo jumpers that had the
removable rings threaded through their harness just above the Box-X...with quite a load mounted on them.

The Harness was never meant to have something
pulling against the stiching like that. A high G opening 'could' seperate the whole harness.
