Peej 0 #26 May 19, 2005 Whenever it gets dirty. If the grass is wet and i slide in a swoop or something i'll take it home and wash it. I don't pack in my jumpsuit cos it makes it wear faster so apart from jumping i'm not actually in it all that much. Of course after a week long boogie it goes straight in the wash! WrongWay 0 #27 May 19, 2005 I wash mine every time I hear myself say "Hmmm.....this smells like it needs washed.". That's usually once a month or so. Maybe a little more often. My personal jumpsuit washing recipe.... Woolite Cold water Hang or lay out to dry Haven't had it fade any of my suits yet. And it smells pretty after! btucker 0 #29 May 19, 2005 At the nationals I was drug tested. The testers where suspicious and wanted additional samples. I was asked to provide urine, faeces, blood, mucus and semen samples. I'm smiled and handed over my jumpsuit. Although it tested positive for K9 blood and giraffe semen no illegal substance was found and I was awarded a medal. I have since been banned from a nearby zoo. At a boogie Adrian washed that jumpsuit with diesel and dried it out near the fire... PS: It's bad luck to wash a jumpsuit. SkydiveNFlorida 0 #30 May 20, 2005 QuoteQuoteMy Bev suit came with instuctions saying not to wash it with Tide or Woolite. Anyone know why? I remember those instructions but I thought handwashing with Woolite was okay...just not Tide because it's too harsh and will break down the fibers and will fade quicker. That's why I got a 2-pc suit... too hot in the summer! Guess I won't be having that problem when I move to SF. -A
