Zenister 0 #26 July 12, 2005 no i get it.. and actually you do.. reread your waiver if you doubt... but the point of this post isnt that someone ELSE might kill you (those number are so small as to be nearly meaningless, despite the recent tragedy) its that YOU might make decisions and choices that result in YOUR 'untimely' demise, and if it is the community's responsibility to 'protect you from your self'____________________________________ Those who fail to learn from the past are simply Doomed. Designer 0 #27 July 12, 2005 I never thought this would get such a response.I would like to think that "Deaths" that occur from bad canopy piloting would never be just "Accepted"?We should all try to do more than we would normally do to change the sport for the better.Talking about possible solutions "Doesn't" save lives.Making changes does.TY everybody

The point of this discussion is that the choices and decisions being made by a small group of jumpers is reckless, dangerous and exposes other jumpers to risks that are unnecessary. Doing a 270 in traffic is selfish ego driven behavior and has nothing to do with a waiver. And it has nothing to do with individual freedom. By your definition I should be able to use landing canopies for skeet practice, after all the wavier said this shit could be dangerous. Quote(those number are so small as to be nearly meaningless, despite the recent tragedy) Do you think the friends and family of the 2 jumpers who dies think it was meanignless? My idea of a fair fight is clubbing baby seals
 Prev 1 2 Next Page 2 of 2 Join the conversation You can post now and register later.
