Thanatos340 1 #1 August 25, 2005 I have seen the question posted many times about Life Insurance that covers Skydiving accidents; I have found a Company that actually wants skydivers business. The rates seem reasonable from a very reputable well established company and specifically INCLUDES skydiving accidents. I am in no way affiliated with this company and make noting off referrals, just wanted to let people know what was available after I spent quite some time looking into it. I do not want to violate the no advertising policies here but if you are interested, PM me and I will give you their information. Or I will post it with the Mods permission. goose491 0 #2 August 25, 2005 They are capitalising on a myth. That's like an Auto insurance company saying "We won't charge you more for a Red car!" knowing that a lot of people still think a red car is more expensive to insure... when of course, it isn't. Most life insurance companies don't have a problem with skydiving. There are riders, for which you would pay an additional fee, chargeable if you are making money in the sport. bmcd308 0 #3 August 25, 2005 Do they offer disability insurance? My life insurance pays if I die skydiving, but the disability policies I have inquired about exclude TONS of high risk activities, many of which I would not have considered all that high risk, such as being a passenger in a non-commercial aircraft. ---------------------------------- www.jumpelvis.com
