we will continue to follow the BSRs and will be recognized as a "sanctioned DZ."

Sanctioned by who?

USPA.

Not if you are not a group member dz....

Read the S&TA Handbook as well as the SIMS. A "sanctioned DZ" is one that follows the BSRs. Being a "group member" is not a BSR. USPA third-party liability is still effective at "sanctioned DZs." And "sanctioned DZs" will still have an S&TA (me). If ASC does indeed lose its group membership on Sept. 2, the DZ will continue to follow the BSRs (as it has in the past) and remain a "sanctioned DZ."

If they don't have ratings, they won't be able to jump with students.

Thanks for the correction on SIM. Just make sure you read what's inside so you don't post the misinformation as in earlier posts.

But it is "it's" not "it" ... whatever ... get over yourself.

mike, im the king of letting my emotions get the best of me. you can be better than that.

get over yourself. your "NOT" the best dz with the "best" swoopers, belly fliers, freefliers, or any fliers for that matter. and you "dont" have the best instructors.

granted, most of them are good, they are far from the best. i invite you to send "your best!" to skydive atlanta this weekend.:)

anyways, yes, the third party insurance will be available to all "uspa licensed skydivers". it will not be available to the students.

and if you find a "loophole" in the wording. no worries, we will change the wording.:)

Good for him, probably a good business choice. What I want to know is what the after effects for ASC or Skyride will be? How will it affect their business? Since Chutingstar ran the school, do they take inststructors with them to the new location leaving ASC crippled?

I'm surprised that within this emotion filled thread people aren't looking for financial or personell carnage to happen to these 1-800-bozos.
