billvon 3,116 #1 September 10, 2005 Well, 4 way is long done, 8 way is over, 16 way was yesterday and now we're in the middle of canopy accuracy and 10-way speedstar. Our speedstar team isn't in last (which was our only goal.) One of our prouder moments happened yesterday during 16-way, where we matched the Knights score on one round. (Sure, they got a 7 on the first round and we got a 1, but a pickup 16 way team has to take their props where they can find em.) Tonight we have another awards ceremony; I think this is number 3. And that should be it. They should finish 10-way and canopy events today. It will be nice to sleep in my own bed again.

Oh I got it, you're the Capitan.May your trails be crooked, winding, lonesome, dangerous, leading to the most amazing view. Team 905's cameraflyer's reply: Ya know, I was admiring Team 906's video (when their cameraflyer waas dubbing after a round)....then I realized why his looked so much better....! All his team had very colorful jumpsuits (Mark Brown's Team) and mine had [almost] all black! < well, I tried to find a picture of Team 906, but their THEIR TEAM PICTURE needs another explanation! ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon
billvon 3,116 #6 September 12, 2005 >Oh I got it, you're the Capitan. Nope. Indeed, on our 16-way team, I was one of the few people who _wasn't_ the captain.

jumpjunkie2004 0 #9 September 12, 2005 Congrats. Question: When you become part of a pick up team, do you get to do any practice jumps before competing? Jennifer mentioned going to Nationals next year and joining a pick up team. Just curious about how it works.Jump, Land, Pack, Repeat...
Ron 10 #10 September 12, 2005 QuoteQuestion: When you become part of a pick up team, do you get to do any practice jumps before competing? You CAN, but its not that common. This year for instance they moved 8 into the "rain date" for 4way. Sometimes they don't and your pickup team can make a few practice jumps."No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms." -- Thomas Jefferson, Thomas Jefferson Papers,

airgord 1 #12 September 13, 2005 Ya gotta love this sport, 16 people who don't know anything about 16 way trying to tell 16 other people how to do 16 way. Glad I'm camera.
