diverds 0 #1 September 13, 2005 When you call the contact phone number at www.skydivenebraska.com they answer the phone "Adventure Sports". Is this another Skyride shell, or are there other companies out there doing the same thing as Skyride? -Dave Skydive Radio

teason 0 #3 September 13, 2005 Yeah, I'd say so. No address, vague descriptions of staff and gear, lots of Mirage pictures. I'm kinda insulted that they haven't done "Adventure Skydiving Nebraska". It's like they just don't care about us anymore And to think, I spent some of the best years of my as life as the chief instructor at many of the fake dropzones that never really existed.I would rather be a superb meteor, every atom of me in magnificent glow, than a sleepy and permanent planet. packerboy 3 #5 September 13, 2005 Why do you say lots of Mirage pictures? Is there an agreement somewhere to use pictures with Mirage containers. Explain please, people may get the wrong idea or the right idea. -------------------------------------------------- In matters of style, swim with the current; in matters of principle, stand like a rock. ~ Thomas Jefferson

I think they might have been refering to a Mirage, like that in the desert where you see an Oasis, but when you get there, it's just more sand. At least that is how I took it. teason 0 #7 September 13, 2005 There used to be (maybe still) a mirage dealer at ASC, the same owners as skyride. It would stand to reason that they would have lots of mirage clip art, not that mirage is in cahoots with skyride. I wish I had thought of the oasis thing though, funnyI would rather be a superb meteor, every atom of me in magnificent glow, than a sleepy and permanent planet.
