18 jumps..1st floating exit--AMAZING

I did jumps 17 and 18 earlier today...hadnt jumped in over 2 weeks do to wind conditions from hurricane Rita...shes screwed me up...i did 17...just a relaxed jump...to get back into the mojo of things..# 18...wow...did my 1st floating exit...one of the instructors just told me...keep looking at me till your body turns on its own...and sure enough did what he told me..and watched the plane leave behind me with a thumbs up from him..wow wow wow..lol well thats this weeks story...3 coach jumps to go, and the hop and pop..then ill have the A licence!!

Congrats...

My favorite exit is... Stand in the doorway and grab your ankles. Throw yourself out in a front-flip spin... If you hold it long enough you will see the plane many times as you keep flipping...

Oh, but you probably should not do that on your hop-n-pop that you still have to do.:$

Anyway, congrats on doing your 18th...

yeah, flip exits are fun. i started doing gainers out of the plane. just jump out and throw your body back and tuck into a ball and you will just keep rotating till you open up. so far my most is like 4 flips. it's nice not having to try to get stable right away too cause when you open up you're at terminal velocity so if you're on your back or something all you have to do is flip over. i can't wait for my A license either. i waited at the dropzone for like 5 hours yesterday but the clouds just didn't want to move out of the way
