Nickkk 0 #2 September 25, 2005 I jumped that baby a week or so ago... It was AWESOME!!!! Loved the dead air and the falling sensation! I stood on the rail and leaned off backwards and watched (and FELT) myself fall away from the chopper... It was SWEEET! What do you do when someone throws a big planet at you? Throw your pilot chute in defense!
CanuckInUSA 0 #3 September 25, 2005 I believe I made a bunch of jumps out of that very same helo last year during the Wildwood PST beach boogie. Tons of fun I say!!! Nice bird to jump from!!! papax17 0 #4 September 25, 2005 Was this at cross keys yesterday at like 6:30? I am pretty sure I was standing right next to you when you were waiting for the chopper.

I wasn't at Crosskeys yesterday (I am in Colorado right now). I'm just thinking that this is the bird I jumped from last year, which was tons of fun. Superman32 0 #8 September 25, 2005 Yeah, I jumped it yesterday at around 6:30, heli load 7. I hung from the strut and then just let go, and fell backwards, really cool. The funny thing was that while climbing out, I was afraid of falling off I didn't get the roller coaster felling where your stomach goes up, but for the first time it felt like there is nothing under me, no drag, just like fallingIt was like my first tandem again Inveniam Viam aut Faciam I'm back biatches! riggerrob 643 #12 September 26, 2005 QuoteQuoteIs that an Alouette? I believe it is. >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> That is an Alouette II (two tail rotor blades) or a Lama (3 tail rotor blades). I did a few tandems from one of them back in 1987. bisqit999 0 #13 September 27, 2005 do they fly that thing in the middle of the week? How much did the jump cost?
Superman32 0 #14 September 27, 2005 If you have the 3 or 4 people to take it up and they have a pilot, I don't see why not. It cost $35, it used to be $25 (I think). The biplane used to $65 but now its $100 Damn gas prices Inveniam Viam aut Faciam I'm back biatches!
Superman32 0 #15 September 27, 2005 Every so often they would manifest a chopper jump for a regular jump ticket. Definately worth it Inveniam Viam aut Faciam I'm back biatches!
riddler 0 #16 September 27, 2005 I've done a few jumps out of an Aloutte. Not a bad ship. I'm not a pilot either, but from the size of the landing pad and the length of the skids, he did a damn good job putting it down!Trapped on the surface of a sphere. VorteX 0 #17 September 27, 2005 I jumped from the biplane last month and it was 45$ I loved Crosskeys and we are going back for the Haloween boogie (I am from QC, Canada) QuoteIf you have the 3 or 4 people to take it up and they have a pilot, I don't see why not. jkbernstein 1 #19 September 28, 2005 I was on the load just before you! Yeah, jumping the Alouette is a blast. I also jumped the biplane this weekend, which was equally fun. Crosskeys definitely has it going on as far as fun jumping toys!
