JFTC from a guy's perspective

I almost messed Val up on the second dive - she smiled and waved back, then realized she wasn't over far enough.

She was trying to geek the belly-cam... and was disappointed when she found out it was facing away from her. :D:D

Sparky

How could anyone miss that orange suit?

Is that a Zute Sute? Got one just like it if it is, neon orange... if I fuck up on a dive, everyone knows who it is... :S Thankfully I don't fuck up but once in a while. :P

Who could miss Sparky's orange suit?

Since we're such nice guys, we had a color scheme for the base that not even a color blind whuffo could confuse - three whites on one side, then orange, blue and red on the other. None of these "which of those six black suits do I dock on?" issues!

151. And now if you will excuse me, the party is in full swing.

Get your ass offline and go drink a beer, Bill. I'm willing to bet you have a private stash of the good stuff. Thanks for all the great updates.

Congrats and hugs all around to all the participants and organizers and supporters. Very cool stuff indeed!

LOTS of women on crutches @ Perris right now.

I think there were only three sets of crutches.

Also someone went to the hospital from heat exhaustion or dehydration yesterday. It was hot, but there was a LOT of cold water constantly available to the JFTC participants (including on the vehicles picking them up in the landing areas) and a cold swimming pool. I know I jump into that pool once a day when its hot.

Takes more then just water to keep yourself from getting dehydrated.

BTW, here is a link to an article.

It seems that the article won't just pop up. You have to do a search with "Up for a cause"

Maggie Downs has some skydiving experience and you can tell by the way she wrote the story.
