ragglesnarf 0 #1 November 10, 2005 I did my AFF in the netherlands and have completed all (32 total) jumps there as well. I will be in the states for the next few months and would like to get my A license. I pulled the USPA license proficiency card off the net and i have done most of the requirements. My question is this: Can another instructor sign these off from my logbook, or do I need the instructor from the netherlands to sign them off and can then have the the remaining items demonstrated for signature and completion? Or do I have to demonstrate everything on the card to the new instructor and he/she has to sign the complete card off? Just really would like to get my -A- and not wanting to have to spend even more money for jumps already completed. I'm sure you all understand. Please advice accordingly. Thanks in advance Billy
mnealtx 0 #2 November 10, 2005 From the SIM (Skydiver's Information Manual), Section 2-1(E) 1. General [E] a. All student training programs must be conducted under the direction and oversight of an appropriately rated USPA Instructor until the student is issued a USPA A license. So, if your instructors are USPA certified, then they could sign off and you could complete it once you get in the States, I would think...Mike I love you, Shannon and Jim. NWFlyer 2 #3 November 10, 2005 You've asked this question before. I'll repeat my answer here. QuoteWhy don't you contact a DZ in the area and find out what type of documentation they would require from Texel? That seems like the most reasonable place to start. They could advise you on any gaps in your training and what it would take to complete your A requirements at that DZ. That's going to be your most accurate answer, not what you learn on here.
