Wingsuit proximity to other canopies

I flew relatively near and observed them under canopy while I was still in freefall, didn't get closer than 150'

That's much closer than I'd be comfortable with except if pre-planned with an expert WS flyer. For someone at your experience level ("wingsuit spot" ?), this borders on reckless.

By "wingsuit spot" he may be referring to the pilot flying further up wind of the LZ after the last non-WS jumper exits. I had one pilot offer to do it for me on a day when the uppers were strong (thanks). I agreed, and it was fun because I could fly a longer downwind leg with some serious ground speed (for me at least :)

At Perris over the holidays I flew many loads as the lone wingsuit with an Otter load of strangers (many foreigners even). I was usually in the same area as them cause I didnt get a wingsuit spot. I flew relatively near and observed them under canopy while I was still in freefall, didn't get closer than 150' (basically what I estimated their nearly immediate manuevering range) because I didn't arrange prior. Nobody was bent all day, not even the tandems. Of course, 'your mileage may vary'.

Did you pay attention to the waiver you signed and the briefing at Perris? If so you failed to adhear to the DZ's policies on wingsuit flight. How do you know now one was "bent"? The school staff is usually instructed to not handle conflicts directly with up jumpers, but instead go through the DZM, or S&TA's. You may very well have slipped through the cracks.

DO NOT mess with tandems. You're playing with other people's lives.

Hello,
Check in with all friendly bros.
Get out first, and offset your flight by 100'.
Fly straight down the flight path watching all the friendly bros exits.
After they're all out, fly a bit more before hooking a u-turn.
As you come banking around you look for the Otter diving, hella cool.
Then you fly right down the middle of all the bros,
buzzing them to the left and to the right, like cones.
50' or 500', it's up to you.
You are a flying baracuda amonst a school of whales.
You remember about the dzo,
and dump by the freeflyers canopies to hide your lowpull.

Any wonder about why we think of some of them like we do?
