Some moron open one of those about 15 minutes from me...Huge shop...nice scoots!

Must have sold 15-20 of them before closing the doors, with 50 or so in the show room!

We are dealing with So cal folks. They don't know what a deer is and we don't need to sell one to keep the doors open.

Don’t now ya personally dude, but follow your heart, there are many wonderful avenues to stroll down during this lifetime other than skydiving, gravity will always be here in case you feel the need.

I have often said if there is one thing better than skydiving it would be the relationships formed with so many good people I have had the pleasure of forming during my time in the sport... I would imagine that there are others out there who might agree, overall, skydivers are good people...

I am thinking of giving up jumping and going into business with a friend building "choppers" for the
RUBS of the So. Ca.

Please be careful when planning the floor layout of your shop. There is a bar about three miles from my
house that I sometimes pass by on my way to work, and I have made a study of these "choppers" in their
natural habitat. During the spring and summer, on sunny days, large flocks of them can be seen parked
outside the bar. These flocks remain large until the late fall, when it starts getting seriously cold. Then,
they all disappear for a couple of weeks. I haven't yet been able to find out where they go, but I think
they are pupating during this period. The reason why is that after a couple of weeks, they all come back -
but as Lincoln Navigators and Chevy Suburbans and such. These stay all winter, and must mate in the
early spring... when it warms up, the SUVs give birth to a new flock of choppers, and then migrate
away. SO, if you get a cold snap, you could come in one morning and find your shop full of SUVs - if it
was completely packed with bikes before, the expansion in volume might damage the building.

I hope this helps!

I always thought the name "chopper" for a motorcylce was pretty stupid.

That term came when guys started "chopping" up or cutting the frame at the front end, raking or bending the neck of the frame so the forks were at an extreme angle to the original rake angle, then adding over extended forks.
Though it does sound funny at times when use these days. :D

Dude,
You can't quit! I admire your expertise and safety. Any jump you're on, I will do, proudly. (sure, I might mess up myself) But, I respect your ideas, thoughts and that damn bright orange jumpsuit you wear!

Loved the picture. Strange RW exit or is that a tandem passenger that he forgot to hook up?

Good idea. Do it today. There's no money in skydiving, and a seemingly endless pool of idiots willing to pay 20k or 30k for a bike thats borderline un-ridable.

As far as not jumping, fuck that. Take the some of that chopper money and buy yourself some new gear, take it to the DZ and fun jump and tunnel fly at your leisure.
