SkyDivinRyan 0 #1 April 13, 2006 I just finished reading the latest skydiving magazine and saw an ad for skydivingnz.com and it says that its is the only school where you can get skydiving training in all the fields just wondering if it any good or if there is any schools closer

DeNReN 0 #3 April 13, 2006 Get your A from your home DZ before even thinking about going to NZ....if your in a rush..and dont mind paying the extra $$ do PFF instead of continuing on with the IAD progression....you will learn the necessary free fall skills faster with PFF and become more comphy in FF alot faster then with the IAD progression... Snake oil is always avaible for those willing to buy it .... The season in Canada is just starting...just jump man...learn....and avoid the BS...have fun...dont push yourself beyond your limits by promises of a career in skydiving....they are rare and require a commitment that most cannot do...its not as easy as forking over 10k to someone and "poof" your a skygod. Just jump and enjoy this sport
bigway 4 #4 April 13, 2006 I was on the first one....... it was meant to have changed for the better now but dont think it has. I have a good mate on the one right now (did not listen to the advice) give him an email and ask him about it... shaunwalters1@hotmail.co.uk Apparently there is still alot of lifts only going to 8000 feet. It think each jump works out to about $80nzd if you are not from new zealand, and only get 8k sometimes. Other dropzones will go to 13 for $30nzd. .Karnage Krew Gear Store . Squeak 17 #5 April 13, 2006 you've changed you tune a bit not too long ago you were expousing the virtues and praising it to high heavenYou are not now, nor will you ever be, good enough to not die in this sport (Sparky) My Life ROCKS! bigway 4 #6 April 13, 2006 if you look at my posts the last thing i was doing was praising it. I was ripped off alot of money on that course as were many others. What you might have me confused for was a similar course that i started up in Auckland. Instead of getting a bogus diploma and international students having to pay $15000 NZD, the one i started (and is still going) is more of a package covering the same topics and you are not free labour also getting free accomoodation and all training and coaching is done by the new zealand team and camera training with wendy smith all for only $8,500NZD. Now i would have been praising that and it was designed in a way that no student can be ripped off as you can pull out anytime you like and be refunded what you have not used. Every jump works out to NZD$20 from 14,000 feet. And you dont have to pack their tandems for free nor do you need to go and work on another dz for free for three months. http://www.nzskydive.co.nz/auckland/packages.html [url] .Karnage Krew Gear Store .
