skybytch 273 #26 January 18, 2002 QuoteJust remember to continue using your normal alti. And your eyes... mechanical devices can fail. Get to know what the ground/horizon look like at break off and pull time and trust that over any visual or audible altimeter...pull and flare,lisa--

Deuce 1 #28 July 8, 2004 I just picked up one of these with the light warning sensor. I got one cause Greg Gasson has one, and he said it was a good thing to have during his seminar at the Holiday Boogie. How do I set the first alarm? The new website is short on directions. Clay? You have one of these, how do I set the first alarm for 4500 feet? And the second and third alarms go off when? JP
SpecialKaye 0 #29 July 11, 2004 I have two of the old style dytters and never have had any problems with either. However, they only have one setting, I have one set at break off and one set at hard deck to be open...one is in each ear. I had to build and install a second pocket for my frap hat which wasn't a problem. The one I got free from a friend of mine right off AFF and the second I bought for $25 bucks from a skydiver that was hungry....got several pieces of my gear that way and haggled until I got the deal I thought was acceptable. I've had both for 8 years now and only changed batteries...they may be old style, but both were the right price and have proven themselves for being long lasting.
