Pay for Part time Manifest

Just a question here.... what do people typically get paid for part time manifest? I really want to do it to offset the cost of jumping, but I was curious as to what other DZs pay.

Uh..... you are at Greene County.... whatever the Wests are willing to pay..... do it.. you will learn a lot and you get to offset some of the cost of jumping at one kick ass DZ.

People get paid to do manifest? Daaaaaaaaaamnnnnnnn. I gotta go talk to the boss!

Come work at suffolk skydive.... We are looking for a manifest person and i think it pays $9 an hour.

Better question - What are you willing to work for and what is the specific, local, DZO willing to pay you? Is A less than B? Then go for it.

Or, find something with an equivalent skill set, research that market, see if that pay is equivalent for equivalent hours, then see if the manifest job hasn't already been taken by someone that just needed the work and took it right away while you agonized over a relatively simple decision.

For someone who wants to just make a few bucks while being around people they like, manifest can be a great job or a crappy job. Depends on how spoiled the jumpers act and how spoiled the DZOs act and how spoiled the DZ staff acts.

A good manifestor can deal with it all and do a great job. I know, our chief manifester is great at her job and takes good care of us all.

Dental = Covered provided you dont need cleanings xrays, fillings, surgery, toothbrush may be provided

Medical = First aid kit located in manifest

Small Expense Account = Wal mart for printer paper, scotch tape etc...

Lunches = Leftover from BBQ's and boogies

Dinners if work past 8pm (most of the time) = See Lunches

Wardrobe account = Once again, your pick of the loost and found

Company Car= Golf Cart to chase off DZ landings

Most Jumps comped = Early bird and Sunset Load half off

DZ Patch for your DZ coat (provided) = Top pick of the lost and found plus cost of patch

Skittles all day every day = Ask someone to bring them in

Stock Options = ??

401K contribution = Better be a bra size

Hmmm... maybe I should clarify.... I am already working manifest. I know that whatever they are paying is fair. I just thought the calculation for how they get to the number was interesting and wondered how others did it. I love Jim and Lee! They are awesome, and I know they take care of people that work there....

somehow I knew I would get made fun of for asking this.... I really gotta stop posting here.
