I want to know, why is that so important for skydiver have different license such as A, B, C, and D?

It's a way of certifying that a skydiver has reached a certain level of competence. It's far from perfect, but it's better than nothing.

For all practical purposes (at least in the US - I don't know about other countries) there may never be a reason to get anything other than an A license.

However you may find that ...
...certain boogies require a higher license
...certain dropzones require a higher license
...you want to get an instructional rating and need a higher license
...you want to do a night jump
...you like to collect lots of different cards with different numbers on them

For us, it's not having to have a current medical (B), be able to jump without an instructor present and accountable (C), be allowed to jump camera (C), not having to get a "harness-test" every 3 months (C), jump without a helmet /AAD (C), get various instructor's ratings (B,C,D), and for some special jumps.
