Sometimes it has to be done for your safety and the safety of others. You should be ashamed if you don't say anything when safety is compromised. jBe kinder than necessary because everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle. wmw999 2,589 #4 May 24, 2006 The thing about going against the rules/law/custom/whatever is that you don't have a lot of defense if someone else does take a more rigid view. That's part of the attraction for some people, that it is against the rules. If you're popped for speeding, well, you're popped. If you got turned in for regular speeding by a co-worker, well, you were speeding. Such is life. Skydivers aren't all alike. And they haven't been since I started jumping. Check left to see when that was. Back when safety meetings happened, they were still taken out behind the tree, hangar, or into the parking lot. Because there isn't a defense if you're caught. wmw999 2,589 #6 May 25, 2006 I'm old, remember -- that kind of thing doesn't happen around me. I never did anything like that Wendy W.There is nothing more dangerous than breaking a basic safety rule and getting away with it. It removes fear of the consequences and builds false confidence.
