za_skydiver 0 #1 June 4, 2006 Hey all, Youve probably heard of a lot of people that have left the sport and come back to it again but.... I broke myself up pretty bad six years ago, went home (as in another country) to recuperate always with the thought in my mind that one day ill jump again. But as time went on and work (when i finally got a job) always seemed to be preventing me for jumping, i held off until this year, when i decided that i have just become a miserable git, and the only way to get rid of it is to jump! So i decided, come hell or high water im getting back in the air THIS year. So to cut an already long story short... I did it! I did 2 recurrency jumps yesterday, and a 2 way today! Tell you what, i forgot how good it feels to jump! Im back and im not stoppping again for anything! Blue Skies! Some dream of flying, i live the dream... SWATcop 0 #2 June 4, 2006 I am in the same boat as you. I busted my self up ten years ago (accidental opening) and just got back into jumping after a ten year break. I am going out to Deland tomorrow to demo some new gear. I have been back jumping for about a month now. Welcome back.Kevin Muff Brother #4041 Team Dirty Sanchez #

za_skydiver 0 #4 June 4, 2006 I busted myself on landing (24 dec 99 of all days), was in coma for two weeks, and still dont know what happened, all i know is that the back of my factory diver was pretty much crushed from impact. TK at Skydive City reckon my canopy collapsed, but he said he was speculating cause he only saw the last split second of it. Funny thing is nobody did and it was almost in front of the packing tent. Rigger told me later that my brake lines where too short as well. At that time i was jumping a 135 Bladerunner (eliptical). Some dream of flying, i live the dream... BIGUN 1,484 #6 June 4, 2006 I had a nine year break. Part of it was trying to recover from a broken back on a military jump. Part of it was an attempt to live amongst the "normals." My first jump after nine years was spiritual. Welcome back.Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.
