jloirsdaan 0 #1 June 22, 2006 Okay, posted this in the bonfire without thinking. LOL, I really would appreciate suggestions and in the Bonfire it'll be off the front page by the end of the day. So, I get home sometime in mid Aug and should be on leave from around 20 Aug-1 Sept. I haven't jumped since Feb and thats #1 on the List. I'd also like to be able to have other options for my kids. My wife jumps also...so that's not an issue. I made the thread in the bonfire a poll. Probably not really practical in hindsight. As I'll have about 2 weeks and won't spend all that time at one DZ. I was thinking of going to AZ and SoCal. Or Florida. However, NWFlyer suggested a boogie in Oregon. That sounds nice too...plus they'll probably have cooler temps. Even though anything below 130 will be cool to me at the time . So, any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I'd like to go where there will be lots of people. I enjoy meeting new peeps. I'll have probably missed most boogies...if not let me know! I'd have deleted the other thread but once someone posts to it...thats no longer an option . Jordan Go Fast, Dock Soft. jloirsdaan 0 #3 June 22, 2006 QuoteDallas? Thats what the Labor Day boogie is for . I'll be hitting SD Dallas up the 1st weekend back. Get current and then take my family off and have a good time. I LOVE DALLAS, and will be there beating down the door first thing Saturday morning when I do get back . Jordan Go Fast, Dock Soft.
AFFI 0 #4 June 22, 2006 One of the finest skydiving facilities in the U.S. is in Houston Texas. Fantastic place, 140 acre landing area, 3 well maintained Super Otters, clean bunk room and campground with full hook-ups and nearby hotels. Skyfest is in July if you can bump up your plans, it is going to be a blast with all kinds of different planes and people. jloirsdaan 0 #5 June 22, 2006 Yes, Spaceland is a very nice DZ. I've been there once, but didn't get to jump. Damn weather. I SOOOOO wish I could be back in time for Skyfest. But that isn't an option. Damn military . Jordan Go Fast, Dock Soft.

Feeblemind 1 #7 June 26, 2006 Quote However, NWFlyer suggested a boogie in Oregon. reply] Well I went to the All of the Above boogie last year in Oregon. Needless to say I hope Teresa (spelling?)and Joe are prepared for the arrival of Nor-Cal to their boogie. Everyone that went last year had such an awesome time, the word just got out. It is much cooler there and the views from altitude are just awesome. A bunch of us are flying in on Friday morning and will be hitting the DZ around 10 am. Hope to see you there.
