SOS jumpers in IL, IN, IA and WI?

Recommended Posts

We're thinking of going for a SOS state record in Illinois but we need a few more jumpers. Are there any SOS members in northern IL or nearby states who would be interested and are current?

John:

There was just a POPs meet at Archway two weekends ago, w/ several SOS jumpers there. Jason Mark, the DZO probably has some contact info for them. (I actually did a 4 way w/ two of 'em, a married couple who were both well into their 60's, great folks!).

The DZO doesn't post here, but I'll contact him and see if he can give up any info and get back to you...

:$ ooops... thought you meant Single Operating System, not Skydivers Over Sixty... was wondering why you'd want to do a record attempt with all folks wearing a Single Operating System rig...

So...instead of gear manufactures etc. being present at a record attempt like this....
~will there be reps from AARP?;)

... and don't forget to bring samples of geritol, bengay, polygrip, etc.

Wanna take a bet on the number of cars with a little blue handicapped placard hanging in the mirror?!:P

Let me just remind you that the SOS folks DID set a TX record last weekend :P:P unlike some group mostly comprised of younger folk.:P:P

Anyhow, being in AARP makes one feel right at home in Z-Hills.

But then again....even a BLIND dog finds a bone now & then!;)

...and it's 'easier' for the old folks, their only worry is whether or not to buy green bananas!
