Zeppo 0 #1 September 5, 2006 Hi Everyone As a newcomer to the sport, I'm itching to always learn more about skydiving. Are there any key books that I should pick up that will help me learn more of the basics. Thanks. What goes up, must come DOWN!!!
AggieDave 6 #2 September 6, 2006 There's a couple of books on the market written by a couple of different skydivers. They're not bad information, but know this: you will learn more by going to the DZ and hanging out talking to people. Go ahead and read everything you can and learn all you can from outside sources, BUT check everything single thing you read and learn with your instructors for applicability and correctness. That is important.--"When I die, may I be surrounded by scattered chrome and burning gasoline."

matthias 0 #4 September 6, 2006 Read these so far, pretty good: -Dan Poynter & Dan Turoff - The Skydiver's Handbook -Tom Buchanon - JUMP! -John Derosalia - Mental Training for Skydiving and Life The third one I would recommend everyone read even if they weren't skydivers. Very motivational as well as informative._________________________________________ trance/house mixes for download: www.djmattm.com
