Tyrion 0 #26 September 6, 2006 4.5k 3k 1.8k - My hard deck Ditter altitudes remain the same for all my jumps, FF, 8-way, 4-way, tracking... My responses are a little different depending on what type of dive i'm doing though. If i'm FF or tracking and I hear 4.5, I know i'm late, usually aim to break off at 5 on those. 8-way, I hear 4.5 and I turn and track, 4-way it's not quite so urgent and I know i've safely got another couple of seconds if we need to get that last point Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
popsjumper 2 #27 September 6, 2006 4.5 3.5 2.5 All jumps. I use my analog alti and my eyes...the Neptune is a reminder just in case I screw up or the analog sticks or my eyes are watered up from laughing at some of the sky-antics on the jump. It IS comforting to hear the 2.5 during the snivel, though. My reality and yours are quite different. I think we're all Bozos on this bus. JohanW 0 #29 September 8, 2006 3500' 2500' 1500' these are set 500' low intentionally (!), I like to maintain AA myself. recently was surprised by the first beep for the first time in years (literally). mostly never set breakoff higher, even if it is. flatline used to be 2000' but I heard it a couple of times during opening and set it lower. Prodytter goes in 500' increments, otherwise flatline might have been 1700' or 1800'.Johan. I am. I think. Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
Ron 10 #30 September 11, 2006 Flatline at 1500....That is my no shit, if I can't land it pull the other handles warning. Many people fight a mal till it is too late (or impact). My hard deck is 1800 feet and if I screw up and fight past it (possible, others have) , the flatline is set to wake me up to the fast moving planet coming at me."No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms." -- Thomas Jefferson, Thomas Jefferson Papers, 334 Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
champu 1 #31 September 12, 2006 RW -> 4.0 / 3.2 / 1.8 FF -> 5.0 / 3.2 / 1.8 WS -> 5.0 / 4.0 / 2.5 /eta: The only real change I ever make to these is to bump the first warning up by an extra 500ft if it's more than a 4-way or so. Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
