freeflyflunky 0 #1 September 23, 2006 I'm moving out of the country in two weeks -- and plan to take my rig with me. The countries I'll be traveling to/through include Fiji and New Zealand. My question is this: does anyone have experience travelng with rigs to these particular places? What should I expect? I've flown with my rig (always carry-on) in the U.S. before -- but never taken it overseas. Anyone know if it's better to carry-on, check -- or (since I'm moving to NZ and won't be jumping for the first month or so...) have it sent to me later? I'll take all the helpful hints and info that I can get. Thanks!_______________________________________ Oh, and one more thing...Ninjas ARE way cooler than pirates. Froggy 0 #2 September 23, 2006 Not those places specifically, but I took my rig on a trip overseas last year going from Vancouver through London and Frankfurt to Tallinn, Estonia, and then back the same way. 22" carry-on suitcase. Not a single question at security checkpoints anywhere.-------------- We were not born to fly. And all we can do is to try not to fall...
