jumpinjackflash 0 #27 September 2, 2004 And? To clarify? I wasn't ragging on your aggressiveness. We all have the right to go in, whenever we choose, our hands are on the toggles you know. What I was ragging on was you, like me (i'm a lil aggressive too, but, not at 500, at 4000)your a seriously low number jumper, and? My belief is we should listen, and definitly not hand out advice, especially that kind. If you choose to hook it in, your choice, but? If your words are encouraging someone else too??? my 2 cents, peace JJFIt's a gas, gas, gas...
PhreeZone 20 #28 September 2, 2004 Call out there and talk to Sporto or send him a PM on here about coaching out there. He'll hook you up with someone there that can help you Every dime spent on canopy coaching is money well spent. I went back to the basics of a straight in approach and a set pattern and I was embaressed with my landings. If you get the chance to take a Scott Miller or Team Extreme course its worth it too!Yesterday is history And tomorrow is a mystery Parachutemanuals.com
skyhighkiy 0 #29 September 2, 2004 sweet dude, I think I'll try and hook myself up w/ something like that, but tecumseh, in your guys' opinion is a good place to look? BE THE BUDDHA!
skyhighkiy 0 #30 September 2, 2004 point taken and understood, and I would never say "yeah, go and make riser turns now" which I didn't. I gave fair warning of how inexperienced I am and said what I'm doing and encouraged him to be aggressive but never once encouraged him to follow in MY footsteps, just to be aggressive. don't worry though, if I go in, I'll steer clear of everyone I whole heartedly agree w/ you about listening, and I've listened to everything these ppl have been saying and understand what I'm doing, with my experience is extremely dangerous, yet choose to continue. Thank you for your opinion on the matter! Drive fast, takek chances! BE THE BUDDHA!
jumpinjackflash 0 #31 September 3, 2004 I gotta give you at least 50 points on your response to this. Nice reply, you could've read me the riot act for being a prick, yet you just replied to the issues. Maybe my first impression of you was wrong. blue skies, Jack P.S. For what it's worth, over the whole "under canopy" games? I really think that for most of us, doing anything under hard deck other than bringing the landing in is real real dangerous. Stalls and canopy work can be done up high, above hard deck, so that their is time to act if the shit hits the fan...It's a gas, gas, gas...
skyhighkiy 0 #32 September 3, 2004 I notice that people tend to have a bad first impression of me when it comes to any sort of "on-line" meeting. I guess I just come off as an "I'm invincible" hard-headed assholish teenager? lol.I would agree w/ your P.S. that it's dangerous...we're suspended, with air, by cloth, And everyone has their own things they enjoy, obviously not everyone is going to even want to do the things I want to do, and that's awesome, w/out variety in skydivers, half of the fun would be gone. anyway, I got a long day of skydiving ahead of me tomarrow, postin l8er!....hopefully Drive fast, take chances!
