Nancy LaRiviere talks at the 8th Explorers Festival in Lodz, Poland, Nov. 15th - 19th, 2006.

Nancy also received the 2006 Business and Passion Award, presented to honor those that have taken their passions and turned them into a successful business venture.

Hi, I am from Poland. I saw it live on the Internet. It was pretty cool, geared toward the non-jumpig audience. She talked about her work, records, equipment, women in the sport, why we jump, different types of jumps, disciplines, etc. She also had a slide-show presentation.

Last year, Norman Kent from was at the same festival, had a really cool presentation, and also received an award. Later taht night, we took him to the bar, drunk lots of beer and heard some very cool stories forem him stories. Cool guy!

Two years ago Joe Jennings was here, too.

Nancy may also soon be a movie star, sort of.
She and Sally Hathaway did stunt double work for the forthcoming Christmas blockbuster, The Good Shepherd. It's a story of the early days of the CIA.
