Me thinks you better set the DVR to record Stunt Junkies Sigh... I mean, its cool and all that skydiving and skydivers get more positive public exposure, but couldnt they do at least 1 original, never been done stunt? The motorcycle base jump wasn't original? Probably was... I'm latin. We exagerate. Seriously, yeah, that was was original, and so was the skateboard base jump (at least I think they are!) and probably the shark swoop. I just find that the way many of the stunts are presented as groundbreaking gets on my nerve. Again, I'm glad skydivers are getting exposure (and money) from it, but still...Remster

kelpdiver 2 #30 January 11, 2007 QuoteSo apparently Scott S just got shot upwards of a slingshot, got 300 feet of altitude, opened a BASE rig and landed. And was not killed in the process. That is all - carry on. So how many slingshot jumps (get 2 facing each other) can one person do in 24 hours?

catfishhunter 2 #32 January 12, 2007 Saw it live yesterday. Was pretty cool. He was in square one when we was finishing up buying a canopy today. He said he figured he got 270 at the top and deployed around 245 or something like that (don't qoute as I was just listening to him talk). Sounds like he is pretty stoked about the "stunt". Guess his phone is rining off the hook with everyone wanting a piece of him. Seemed like a nice guy glad he didn't end up like the pratice dummies they sent up first MAKE EVERY DAY COUNT Life is Short and we never know how long we are going to have.
