steves54 0 #1 January 26, 2007 Does anyone know who make those canvas roll up jump doors, or any door for that matter? or where i can find a used one
PhreeZone 20 #2 January 26, 2007 For what airplane? They all need a STC for each design and you'll need to contact one of the few STC holders to get you that certificate for that design. If its a 182, 206, Otter you might want to contact Fayard Enterprises at Carolina Skysports.Yesterday is history And tomorrow is a mystery Parachutemanuals.com

JerryBaumchen 1,467 #4 January 26, 2007 Hi steves54, I seem to remember something about USPA having the STC for an in-flight door for a 182. Right/Wrong? You might check with them; although an in-flight door is not a canvas roll-up-type. Jerry

PhreeZone 20 #6 January 27, 2007 Fayard has a really sweet Lexan door kit for his 182. Complete roll up and there is no possibility of stuck doors with it.Yesterday is history And tomorrow is a mystery Parachutemanuals.com
lekstrom10k 0 #7 January 27, 2007 I assume you are looking for one for a U-206? I know Des at Central Michigan Skydivers has one on his. You could E-mail him for the info. It easier to convert an exrta door for C-182's than convert the original. You will have a replacement to reattach thats already painted if it ever came to that..Dont forget to update your seat belts for each jumper.I know USPA had a list of current STC's. Like C-182 seat belt mods for about $20.00. cant beat having someone else doing all the paper shuffles I also agree Paul Fayard would be the best place to start.
