The old Leo Dickinson camera helmets had pilot chutes in. You still see a few of them around.Skydiving Fatalities - Cease not to learn 'til thou cease to live

cpoxon 0 #29 January 29, 2007 Quote Question to anyone who has witnessed a freefalling helmet - did it fall in a stable attitude, or did it tumble, spin, or oscillate as it fell? I recovered the video from the helmet and camera that came off my head. I'll dig it out and upload it when I get a chance. The helmet span so that the camera fell facing upwards towards the sky but it was spining so the camera was orbiting around the axis of the helmet, if that makes sense.Skydiving Fatalities - Cease not to learn 'til thou cease to live
