empire 0 #1 February 23, 2007 If you pack some large canopy (foil or something like that) so that one side stays completely open and other is rolled, what do you think will happen. Will this results a line twist or maybe just some off-heading while opening?

I'm wondering what the point of your (first) post is.....besides trolling that is. maybe if you fill in your profile people will reply, although I doubt that. riggerrob 643 #5 February 24, 2007 He is not trolling. Lots of accuracy competitors roll pack Para-Foils. They start by laying the canopy on its side, roll the nose to the B-lines, roll the tail to the C-lines, pull the slider up, etc. That was the only way I could get my Strato-Cloud to open softly at Claresholm, Alberta (3,500 feet above sea level). If you wait long enough, I could post a copy of those packing instructions.
sparkie 0 #6 February 25, 2007 heh, didnt know that. And I thought flat packing looked funny ;P
sundevil777 102 #7 February 25, 2007 I'm not sure what you mean by, "one side stays completely open". The "roll" type of pack jobs were standard for a long time, even for the smaller canopies of the day.People are sick and tired of being told that ordinary and decent people are fed up in this country with being sick and tired. I’m certainly not, and I’m sick and tired of being told that I am
empire 0 #8 February 25, 2007 some jumper on my dz has some wild offheading while opening, at least 360. i never seen something like that. when i asked him is that cause a type of canopy, he said that he rolls one side of a canopy and other leaves open. i was wondering if you roll one side will this really happen. it's more likely that he will have some line twist when he do that. maybe that what he said was only a joke
