McDuck 0 #2 May 25, 2007 I used to work part time for events there, when I lived in Spokangelas, and I never saw anyone skydive into the Gorge Ampitheatre. To be honest, there aren't many places to safely land during events. The parking lot is usually full of cars. The vineyards aren't an option either. The only place where you might be able to pull it off is the campground, but it would probably have to be at the back end of the campground. If you've seen the actual ampitheatre, the audience area, even when not full, is sloped down to the cemented seating area. smiles 0 #3 May 25, 2007 - I haven't been there yet, trying to get tickets for Dave Matthews Band....the pics show area to the left behind the main stage and the river....cannot tell if that is level.... dream on! .... just outside the beer gardens before camping area to the right, or swoop the ponds!
