I had a conversation with Bill Newell yesterday about the SCR program.
He wanted me to let people know that he will drop the $20.00 membership fee for all awards except SCR and SCS From July 11th - 16th 2007

This means Hoop award, night SCR, VSCR, USA and the others!!

I know when I will get my NCSA (hoop award)... from 21,000 over SD Spaceland!!

Hope every one can take advantage of his offer, this is a great piece of Skydiving tradition and alot of fun too.

Could you clarify this, please?
Is this for a certain event in Texas on those dates or has Bill waved it for any DZ in the country during those dates?

He will waive the membership fee for anyone completing the award during those dates, no matter where the jump is done.
It applies to all awards except SCR and SCS, the Night SCR and SCS are waived as well.

Im going after my SCSA!! Its about damn time I get that one.

I just spoke with Bill and he asks that we amend the post to request those sending in for anything over the SCS include a SASE for $2.00 since he's waving the fee across the country during that time frame (so he doesn't have to eat the postage). In addition, I brought to his attention that the application on the website is the old one that does not include any "V" awards. He asked that I post it here for everyone until his webmaster can get the new application posted.
