BillyVance 35 #2 July 31, 2007 I'd probably go with no boogie fee and $10 jumps. I don't jump my ass off all day anymore, as 3 to 5 jumps a day is enough for me, besides, if you pay $100 and only get 2 or 3 jumps due to weather, wouldn't that suck?"Mediocre people don't like high achievers, and high achievers don't like mediocre people." - SIX TIME National Champion coach Nick Saban
tdog 0 #3 July 31, 2007 QuoteWhat would you like to see as a boogie fee at your next big event? 2 day boogie for $100 of unlimited jumps? What is the manifest time/number of planes per participant? I, on average, jump 10 to 15 times a day at a boogie. For 30 jumps for $100, I would do it hands down! That is $3.33 a jump! I am SO IN!
jtval 0 #4 July 31, 2007 $10 jumps. because once everyone hears about the price the DZ will be so swamped that if I opted for the $100 unlimited jumps I would get two jumps do to manifest being backed up until sunset on sunday My photos My Videos

Thanatos340 1 #6 July 31, 2007 The way The Farm handles it on their $139 all you can jump weekends is you can pay by the jump and it is regular price or if you did more than $139 worth you just pay the boogie fee. Everyone settles up at the end of the weekend. I have seen people get 20+ Jumps for $139 but Jumpers that only get a Couple Jumps in only have to pay for the jumps they did. I agree. if the weather goes bad... even if I wanted to have many more jumps during the 2-day boogie... at $10.00/jump would be a good deal http://www.woundedwarriorproject.org PMS#551 I love my life :)

JohnRich 4 #10 July 31, 2007 QuoteTo allow the unlimited jump boogie fee or allow a Sunday jumper to pay by the jump instead. I think Saturday-only jumpers should get the same deal as a Sunday-only jumper. Otherwise, someone who can only make it on Saturday, has to pay the full-weekend fee, and get only one day out of it. firstime 0 #12 August 2, 2007 the DZO always is pretty good with the costs, we just all chip in for the extras, cooking, clean up etc
BillyVance 35 #13 August 2, 2007 Quote I do miss the old C-Note boogies. I sure do too.... Those Mullins $99 boogies were the best. 15 jumps a weekend were easy, even with 100 assholes at the DZ and getting up every 4th to 6th load if you packed fast enough. Trae 1 #15 August 6, 2007 in reply to 'What would you like to see as a boogie fee at your next big event? ' .......................................................... We could start at cost price jumps . ..with any profits shared amoungst the boogiers. I also like seeing organisers giving away totally free jumps occassionally eg every first load and sunset load being free. For the people that think a band is a waste how about only having all female bands . Free boogie Tshirts , free beer, a free raffle for new gear, brand new free car raffles, free campervans hell make everything free. ...that's what I'd like . It looks pretty free for some why not make it free for all

I also like seeing organisers giving away totally free jumps occassionally eg every first load and sunset load being free. I remember Tennessee Skydiving Center in Tullahoma did that one weekend when they had the Super King Air 200 T tail with the long porch. They collect the jump tickets from each jumper on the load then take them on the plane. On the way up they drew one ticket out of the bag. Whose name was on it got that jump free. I was on one load where people were trying to tell me something. Chris Martin tried to mouth it so I could lipread but with that beard I had no luck. Back on the ground he came walking up to me and gave my jump ticket back "you won the free jump, we tried to tell you". Merkur 1 #17 August 7, 2007 No fee for foreigners -- the ticket to the U.S. is expensive enough. Other than that, I like the option of paying normal jump ticket until you reach a certain amount of money and afterwards jumps are free. You could even add some extra money to these first jumps as you have the chance to get organized jumps, raft dives, ... M. vSCR No.94 Don't dream your life - live your dream!
