Not sure how he got away from the wing... I've only ever seen the pilots harness Binnered to the frame... and it would be hard to reach behind you to physically cut the webbing.... (.)Y(.) From the video it looks like he has part of the frame still dangling from the harness. That's probably how he got separated from the glider.
