NWFlyer 2 #2 November 11, 2007 Depends. Who's teaching and what's the focus? $250 seems pretty high - how many jumps does it include?"There is only one basic human right, the right to do as you damn well please. moto89 0 #3 November 11, 2007 Brian Germain is doing the class. I don't know whether or not he does different classes but I am under the impression that this will not be a high performance canopy course.Less talking, more flying.

My canopy control course with Scott Miller at Deland was $25 per jump and it included my hop n pop, video and debriefing. We did 5 in a day. To me, that's fair "coaching" fees. _________________________________________

DSE 5 #6 November 11, 2007 Take the class. Brian is an amazing teacher, and regardless of your relatively low experience, what you will learn will change/improve your mental and physical approach to canopy control, IMO.
peckerhead 0 #7 November 11, 2007 18 jumps? Please go talk to your instructors first.

I have taken two and I would take another. I am sure he saved me a trip to the emergency room at the very least. I feel 18 jumps is the perfect time to take his course. shropshire 0 #10 November 11, 2007 I agree.... No time like the present. I did Brian Vachers' course (and will do another) and wish that I'd done one years ago. Have fun, you will no doubt learn a lot. (.)Y(.) Chivalry is not dead; it only sleeps for want of work to do. - Jerome K Jerome
AllisonH 0 #11 November 11, 2007 We had at least one person still on student status take Brian's class this year. She learned a TON from it, and Brian went up and did some of the drills with her since she couldn't jump with non-instructors yet.
