blackout 0 #2 December 10, 2007 I work as a server as my profile would suggest. Anyway I have a couple of regulars at my restaurant that fly a balloon, as this is something that interests me too I started talking to them about it. They have apprently done skydives from above 6k so perhaps you could call one of the bigger ballooning outfits in your area to see what their experience with skydivers is. catfishhunter 2 #4 December 10, 2007 Holiday Boogie in Eloy :) Pretty expensive trip to jump out of a ballon (seen your profile) but it would be the trip off a lifetime with all the kick ass skydives and skydivers you'll meet MAKE EVERY DAY COUNT Life is Short and we never know how long we are going to have. We must live life to the fullest EVERY DAY. Everything we do should have a greater purpose.

Educate him on skydiving and why you want to jump from his balloon. If he resists immediately, keep talking. If he still resists, thank him for his time and find another. Apparently - balloon festivals are a place to find balloon pilots... Soon - he (the one you make a relationship with) will welcome your ground crew assistance and participation in gas money - and will look forward to your call. (The bigger guys are all in it for money and can make more money from a wine and cheese trip than from your skydiving... So the little guy hobbyists are the key, or so I have found.) I have a lot of balloon jumps, but none of them have been official DZ commercial operations with all the headaches and attitudes found at a DZ manifest window.
