spyker 0 #1 December 9, 2007 Well, went for my static line training yesterday at JSC, but when it came time for us to jump, it started raining.. I'm going back today if the weather clears.
grannyinthesky 0 #2 December 9, 2007 It's worth the wait. I'm doing AFF and had to wait two weeks to do my second jump today. Hope things dry out for you. "safety first... and What the hell..... safety second, Too!!! " ~~jmy POPS #10490
redlegphi 0 #3 December 9, 2007 Weather holds are just a part of jumping. They suck some times (well, a lot of the time) but they can be useful too. Especially when you're a student and new at the DZ. They're a great time to get to know some of the people around the DZ better and to pick up skills that you'll need to get your license, such as packing. Shoulda talked someone into cracking a beer. The skies usually open up. Sucks to be them.I hold it true, whate'er befall; I feel it, when I sorrow most; 'Tis better to have loved and lost Than never to have loved at all.
