DougH 270 #1 April 7, 2008 I just got off the phone with a rep from Falcon insurance out of Ohio. He did some calling around and was suprised to tell me, and I was suprised to hear, that Lloyds of London was the only company right now that would open a new policy for a turbine jump plane. I was told to look for Jeff Norris. An internet search turned up only Chuck Norris who sadly wouldn't offer me a policy, only a round house kick to the face. Can some one confirm this for me please?"The restraining order says you're only allowed to touch me in freefall" =P

tombuch 0 #3 April 7, 2008 Call USPA. It sounds like a terrific question and issue for the Group Member program.

AggieDave 6 #7 April 8, 2008 I've heard the same thing about King Air jumpships, but not about any other turbine.--"When I die, may I be surrounded by scattered chrome and burning gasoline."
CSpenceFLY 1 #8 April 8, 2008 I would believe it about King Airs.

Jeff Norris is known to offer jump ship insurance. The DZO where I jump has spoke of him to me."America will never be destroyed from the outside, if we falter and lose our freedoms, it will be because we destroyed ourselves." chutingstar 1 #12 April 8, 2008 Quote I just insured my Super Otter with Jeff Norris. And we flew two inaugural loads in that Twin Otter today at Skydive The Farm...no need to collect on the insurance yet. All went well! Looking forward to many more jumps from that plane over the next several years... Thanks Greg!!! MikeChutingStar.com
