Are you asking if you can reuse a main canopy once you cut it away?

Yes, you can. You just have to track it down from where you chopped it at. Another reason why being a good spotter is a good skill to have.

This can be further explained and shown to you by the instructors and riggers at your DZ. Those answers are typically better then faceless advice given to you on the internet by someone who is unknown to you.

In Australia, this is true I think




100% correct...

other common local Aussie slang meanings for something that isn't right or of no use:

rat shit or r/s

buggered

knackered

rooted

plus some colourful swearing i won't post.

So to our non speaking fluent englsih friends when you come to an OZ DZ and mess up something or something isn't working just say "it's rat shit" or it's knackered etc etc....

After five minutes here you will catch on pretty damm quick anyway..
