scroadload 1 #1 May 9, 2008 I have a demo jump into a National cemetery on Memorial Day and I need a large flag 10x18 - 15x25 or so. I have been in the process of making one but my supplier back ordered some of my material and I 'm worried that I won't have enough time to finish it before Memorial Day. Does any one have a flag that I can rent for the day?? I'll be glad to pay for the shipping and rent of the flag and of course its safe return to you. Please email or pm me if you can help! the folks at the cemetery are looking forward to this and I don't want to let them down. Thanks in advance. PhreeZone 20 #2 May 9, 2008 Contact Fastrax down at Start Skydiving. They have a whole collection of flags and can probally help you out. Not to mention they can help train you if you want some pointers on flying the 15*25 or larger flag.Yesterday is history And tomorrow is a mystery Parachutemanuals.com

Not that I'm going to get one that big, but it's nice to know you have that option. matthewcline 0 #4 May 9, 2008 I think the Team may rent it but I also think they may want to ensure the Individual is Trained Properly. I know I would! MattAn Instructors first concern is student safety. So, start being safe, first!!!

I was amazed at how much a flag could change your canopy's flight and handling characteristics, even a small one, when I first started jumping one. PhreeZone 20 #6 May 9, 2008 I agree! Training on a flag that size is critical. Even an 8*10 flag needs to have specific training that a lot of people try to skip. I would hope that before anyone rents a large flag they have some training beyond "I'll just take it up to see what happens".Yesterday is history And tomorrow is a mystery Parachutemanuals.com

BillyVance 35 #10 May 10, 2008 Quote Just curious, how did you get such a low D Lic. number with only 10 years in the sport?Sparky Could be he started way back when, got out of the sport for a long time, then got back in, and only counted the number of years he's been actively jumping?
