Lawdog1 0 #26 June 12, 2008 In brief reply, I'm a newbie with only 100 jumps and basicly know zero knowledge re: DZ profitability, but from limited expeirance with this specific plane. It gets to full alt. quicker by putting the 3-4 tandems (plus 1-2 vids) out lower first. By common sense only this probably results in less fuel consumption. Maybe I'm wrong, but I'll defer to those w/ more experiance
DougH 270 #27 June 12, 2008 It also gives your tandems more time to get packed and geared up if you have limited staff and rigs. More back to back loads; more efficient flying."The restraining order says you're only allowed to touch me in freefall" =P

Lawdog1 0 #29 June 14, 2008 Or the tandems could do clear and pulls from 4,500 ft. If the video was ultra-ultra slo-mo, the play back could resemble a semi real skydive. Hey just a thought. But the home heating oil thing also holds promise.
popsjumper 2 #30 June 14, 2008 23-slot balloon on a winched tether running on propane at $2.66/gal. Getting skydivers to the plane on time instead of dicking around making the plane wait. A DZO that will send the plane leaving the stragglers behind. Making packers buy their own rubber bands. Making Instructors buy their own goggles. Parking fee. Bump tandem price up. 120-day repacks on student gear. Concession charges. Reduce vidiot payouts and increase Instructor payouts. Increase Ghetto rentals. Make Andy an exception to all the rules and have all amenties free of charge to him while increasing his payouts 100%.My reality and yours are quite different. I think we're all Bozos on this bus.
